Honda recalls 720K vehicles: If you have one of these models, bring it to your dealer ASAP

Honda is recalling about 720,000 vehicles due to a malfunctioning fuel pump, according to the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration.
The recall of 720,810 vehicles includes models from the 2023-2024 Accord and Accord Hybrid, the 2025 Civic Hybrid and the 2023-2025 CR-V Hybrid.
According to the NHTSA, the defect stems from an issue discovered during production where cracks form on the fuel pump.
The agency warned that the cracks on the pump could lead to a fuel leak, causing a potential fire, adding that drivers can spot this issue by smelling fuel while driving or idling.
Honda has already notified dealerships of the recall, and owners should receive notification about the recall in the mail by Dec. 4, 2024.
Owners of the affected vehicles can bring their cars to their local Honda dealer for inspection and repair of the fuel pump at no cost.
Those owners who paid to have their fuel pump fixed may be eligible to be reimbursed, according to the NHTSA.
This is the second recall Honda has issued for some of its vehicles this month.
